DAY 1 - Friday 2nd July 2009
Giez, Talloires & Esery

Having flown in from your chosen location on Thursday 1st July and had the time to aclimatise overnight, this is the first real day of the challenge.

An early start from the hotel in Annecy and you arrive at Giez, a comfortable, flat and wide parkland course to break you in gently. Not a short course but you should score well here.

The second course of the day is Talloires. A stunning setting with holes running right down to Lake Annecy and up to the foot of the Alps. Shorter but not short and a much tighter test than Giez should see the scores increase a bit but not spoil the card.

With a little tiredness setting in, the third course is the real highlight of the day at Esery. Set high up with spectacular views this is the premier course of the region and we are privileged to be playing it. Originally an old monastery, this beautiful club is strictly members only, it is only our charitable status that has got us in. Enjoy.

On completion at Esery we will have a few drinks and something to eat before transferring by minibus across to Lyon.
